王上3:5,8-10
在基遍夜间梦中、耶和华向所罗门显现、对他说、你愿我赐你甚么、你可以求。仆人住在你所拣选的民中．这民多得不可胜数。所以求你赐我智慧、可以判断你的民、能辨别是非．不然、谁能判断这众多的民呢。所罗门因为求这事、就蒙主喜悦。
In Gibeon Yahweh appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, "Ask what I shall give you." Your servant is in the midst of your people which you have chosen, a great people, that can't be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this your great people?" The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
主耶稣！所罗门王在梦中求智慧，为要叫人得到公平，公义和正直的益处。主啊！我向祢求恩典，容许我到老都可以跟随祢，事奉祢，服事祢的子民，叫家人和众人得到神的救恩，神的指引，神的供应。
