撒下21:15-17
非利士人与以色列人打仗、大卫带领仆人下去、与非利士人接战．大卫就疲乏了。伟人的一个儿子以实比诺要杀大卫．他的铜枪重三百舍客勒、又佩着新刀。但洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛帮助大卫、攻打非利士人、将他杀死。当日跟随大卫的人向大卫起誓、说、以后你不可再与我们一同出战．恐怕熄灭以色列的灯。
The Philistines had war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines. David grew faint; and Ishbibenob, who was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear was three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being armed with a new sword, thought to have slain David. But Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and struck the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, "You shall go no more out with us to battle, that you don't quench the lamp of Israel."
主耶稣！ 使徒保罗说：有谁软弱、我不软弱呢．有谁跌倒、我不焦急呢。主啊！领袖有多本事，多勇敢，领袖也是人，都会疲乏。求主兴起领袖的当儿，也同时兴起忠诚的人与领袖同心，同行，分担领袖的职务，关心领袖的休息与健康，保护领袖。主！我愿意成为一位关心领袖的人。
