王下5:25-27
基哈西进去、站在他主人面前。以利沙问他说、基哈西你从那里来．回答说、仆人没有往那里去。以利沙对他说、那人下车转回迎你的时候、我的心岂没有去呢。这岂是受银子、衣裳、买橄榄园、葡萄园、牛羊、仆婢的时候呢。因此乃缦的大痲疯必沾染你、和你的后裔、直到永远。基哈西从以利沙面前退出去、就长了大痲疯、像雪那样白。
But he went in, and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, "Where did you come from, Gehazi?" He said, "Your servant went nowhere."
He said to him, "Didn't my heart go with you, when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive groves and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male servants and female servants? Therefore the leprosy of Naaman will cling to you and to your seed forever." He went out from his presence a leper, as white as snow.
主耶稣！基哈西为了得到属地的美物把属天的祝福给买了。主啊！我有属天尊荣的身份，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁国度的子民，若有人拿地上所有的财宝要换我的身份，就全被藐视。
