王下5:17-18
乃缦说、你若不肯受、请将两骡子驮的土赐给仆人．从今以后、仆人必不再将燔祭、或平安祭、献与别神、只献给耶和华。惟有一件事、愿耶和华饶恕你仆人．我主人进临门庙叩拜的时候、我用手搀他在临门庙、我也屈身．我在临门庙屈身的这事、愿耶和华饶恕我。
Naaman said, "If not, then, please let two mules' burden of earth be given to your servant; for your servant will from now on offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice to other gods, but to Yahweh. In this thing may Yahweh pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon. When I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, may Yahweh pardon your servant in this thing."
主耶稣！没有人告诉乃缦，不可敬拜别神、因为耶和华是忌邪的神、名为忌邪者。但，乃缦的儆醒，晓得神所不喜悦的事。主啊！若是我不够儆醒，求祢差派人来提醒我，我若是灵里沉睡，求祢差派人来管教我，叫我晓得在凡事上敬畏神。
