王下12:4-6
约阿施对众祭司说、凡奉到耶和华殿分别为圣之物所值通用的银子、或各人当纳的身价、或乐意奉到耶和华殿的银子、你们当从所认识的人收了来、修理殿的一切破坏之处。无奈到了约阿施王二十三年、祭司仍未修理殿的破坏之处。...乃将那银子交给督工的人、修理耶和华的殿。且将银子交给办事的人、转交作工的人、不与他们算帐．因为他们办事诚实。
Jehoash said to the priests, "All the money of the holy things that is brought into the house of Yahweh, in current money, the money of the persons for whom each man is rated, and all the money that it comes into any man's heart to bring into the house of Yahweh, let the priests take it to them, every man from his acquaintance; and they shall repair the breaches of the house, wherever any breach shall be found." But it was so, that in the three and twentieth year of king Jehoash the priests had not repaired the breaches of the house...
for they gave that to those who did the work, and repaired therewith the house of Yahweh.
Moreover they didn't demand an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to give to those who did the work; for they dealt faithfully.
主耶稣！二十三年过去，圣殿仍旧未修，只因为祭司职务混杂。直等到有了制度，将银子交给办事的人、转交作工的人、不与他们算帐．因为他们办事诚实。主啊！求祢赐智慧与眼见给教会的牧师，能专心以祷告，传道为念，将建教堂的工作交给有才干办事和诚实的人。
