箴17:13，19-20
以恶报善的、祸患必不离他的家。喜爱争竞的、是喜爱过犯．高立家门的、乃自取败坏。心存邪僻的、寻不着好处．舌弄是非的、陷在祸患中。
Whoever rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house. He who loves disobedience loves strife. One who builds a high gate seeks destruction.
One who has a perverse heart doesn't find prosperity, and one who has a deceitful tongue falls into trouble.
主耶稣！今天是新的一年的头一天，我要来到神施恩宝座前将自己献上，当作活祭。主啊！过去一年，我曾经犯下许多的错误，种下了不好的行为，说了不该说的话。我承认，心中仍然有不健康的心态。求祢在新年的第一天，赦免我的过犯，求祢向我施恩，医冶我的心。也求祢叫祸患不要临到我的家。
