耶52:10
巴比伦王在西底家眼前、杀了他的众子．又在利比拉杀了犹大的一切首领．并且剜了西底家的眼睛、用铜炼锁着他、带到巴比伦去、将他囚在监里、直到他死的日子。
The king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he killed also all the princes of Judah in Riblah. He put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death.
主耶稣！当我读到这一幕，我的心好酸痛，一个父亲因为向神行叛逆，结果，亲眼看着亲生的孩子一个一个的被杀，最后，双眼被剜。主啊！愚顽人什么时候才醒悟呢？求祢施恩于我，赐给我一个单纯，简单，相信神，倚靠神，敬畏神的心，做智慧的人，不做愚味人，不跟随愚顽人。
