哀3:49-51
我的眼多多流泪、总不止息、直等耶和华垂顾、从天观看。因我本城的众民、我的眼、使我的心伤痛。
My eye pours down, and doesn't cease, without any intermission, Until Yahweh look down, and see from heaven. My eye affects my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
主耶稣！我在回想，我最后一次流泪是在什么时候。我在自问，我过去有为谁流泪。主啊！原来我们的心已经迟钝，心伤痛的感觉已经麻木，怜悯的心变成知识用语。主啊！求祢救我，叫我的眼见到苦难者，我的心立刻感伤痛，我的眼泪为他们而流，我的手向他们伸出。
