诗9:1-4
我要一心称谢耶和华．我要传扬你一切奇妙的作为。我要因你欢喜快乐．至高者阿、我要歌颂你的名。我的仇敌转身退去的时候、他们一见你的面、就跌倒灭亡。因你已经为我伸冤、为我辨屈．你坐在宝座上、按公义审判。
I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence. For you have maintained my just cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.
主耶稣！大卫王面对仇敌，仍然不忘赞美称颂耶和华神。主啊！我想起使徒行传中的门徒在牢里，不求伸冤，只专注于赞美神，他们弃除心中的不平不满，生气，和抱怨，耶和华神差派天使，施行拯救。主啊！我要心中常有预备，专注于赞美，随时随处，得时不得时，都要称颂耶和华。
