当面的责备、强如背地的爱情。朋友加的伤痕出于忠诚．仇敌连连亲嘴、却是多余。膏油与香料、使人心喜悦．朋友诚实的劝教、也是如此甘美。
Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; although the kisses of an enemy are profuse. Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart; so does earnest counsel from a man's friend.
主耶稣！我发现我周围的朋友，多数是因为大家同在一起工作的同事，有共同康乐，话题的人。能够坦诚指出我的不足，弱点，缺点的，是我的家人。主啊！原来，我的家人才是我要的朋友。求主医治我与家人关系的伤口。赦免我的自大，高傲，造成家人的伤害。谢谢祢的话，使我的灵苏醒。
