创4:3-7 

有一日、该隐拿地里的出产为供物献给耶和华．亚伯也将他羊群中头生的、和羊的脂油献上．耶和华看中了亚伯和他的供物．耶和华对该隐说、你为甚么发怒呢、你为甚么变了脸色呢．你若行得好、岂不蒙悦纳、你若行得不好、罪就伏在门前．他必恋慕你、你却要制伏他。

As time passed, it happened that Cain brought an offering to Yahweh from the fruit of the ground. Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering, Yahweh said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen? If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don't do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.

主耶稣！这里说, 耶和华看中了亚伯和他的供物, 经上说, 神所要的祭, 就是忧伤的灵, 忧伤痛悔的心, 你必不轻看。主啊！是的, 我们心里的意念, 都在神面前显露无疑, 我们的敬拜, 奉献, 在心中有欠缺敬畏神荣耀的地方, 求圣灵光照, 我且要及时认罪悔改。
