林后12:14-16

如今我打算第三次到你们那里去、也必不累着你们．因我所求的是你们、不是你们的财物．儿女不该为父母积财、父母该为儿女积财。我也甘心乐意为你们的灵魂费财费力。难道我越发爱你们、就越发少得你们的爱么。罢了、我自己并没有累着你们、你们却有人说、我是诡诈、用心计牢笼你们。

Behold, this is the third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I seek not your possessions, but you. For the children ought not to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children. I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less? But be it so, I did not myself burden you. But, being crafty, I caught you with deception.

主耶稣！我看到使徒保罗为父的心, 甘心乐意为信徒的灵魂费财费力。主啊！祈求圣灵更多感动年长, 成熟的基督徒, 赐他们一颗为父为母的心。
