诗36:1-3
恶人的罪过、在他心里说、我眼中不怕神。他自夸自媚、以为他的罪孽终不显露、不被恨恶。他口中的言语、尽是罪孽诡诈．他与智慧善行、已经断绝。
An oracle is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: "There is no fear of God before his eyes." For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.
主耶稣！大卫王看见心中无神的人，他们眼中无人，并且自封为王。主啊！几时我的心缺乏敬畏祢，几时我有轻视任何人，几时我见善行却没有行动，求祢责备我，不要叫我的心麻木，以至于行恶，受罚，仍不悔改。
