耶7:23-24 我只吩咐他们这一件、说、你们当听从我的话、我就作你们的神、你们也作我的子民．你们行我所吩咐的一切道、就可以得福。 他们却不听从、不侧耳而听、竟随从自己的计谋、和顽梗的恶心、向后不向前。 But this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you. But they didn't listen nor turn their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. 主耶稣！以色列民人是出了埃及，心却留在埃及，喜欢谈论埃及的事和物。祢说，手扶着犁向后看的，不配进神的国。 主啊！我们不可能忘记过去的事，但我们却可以不去追述，也不去追捧。我的不停留在回想过去的事迹，却一心追求明白，听从神的话，因为，在我们前面，神已经预备了丰盛的生命。
