耶6:13-15 因为他们从最小的到至大的、都一味的贪婪．从先知到祭司、都行事虚谎。 他们轻轻忽忽的医治我百姓的损伤、说、平安了、平安了．其实没有平安。他们行可憎的事、知道惭愧么．不然、他们毫不惭愧、也不知羞耻．因此、他们必在仆倒的人中仆倒．我向他们讨罪的时候、他们必致跌倒．这是耶和华说的。 "For from their least even to their greatest, everyone is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely. They have healed also the hurt of my people superficially, saying, 'Peace, peace!' when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I visit them, they shall be cast down," says Yahweh. 主耶稣！我看见贪婪有如瘟疫，从富裕国家到贫困国家，从上层到下层的社会，无可祸免。主啊！贪婪滋生恶事，视谎言为智慧，视羞耻为平常，视色情为艺术，视欺负为聪明。神啊！求祢处罚的手，速速临到他们的身上。
