出22:10-12

人若将驴、或牛、或羊、或别的牲畜、交付邻舍看守、牲畜或死、或受伤、或被赶去、无人看见、那看守的人、要凭着耶和华起誓、手里未曾拿邻舍的物、本主就要罢休、看守的人不必赔还。牲畜若从看守的那里被偷去、他就要赔还本主．

"If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies or is injured, or driven away, no man seeing it; the oath of Yahweh shall be between them both, whether he hasn't put his hand to his neighbor's goods; and its owner shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution. But if it is stolen from him, he shall make restitution to its owner.

主耶稣！牲畜若从看守的那里被偷去, 他就要赔还本主。主啊！我的心起了警惕, 人交托给我看管的, 无论是人事物, 任何损失, 我都必须承担责任。求圣灵感动我, 不要随便答应, 替人看守的要求。
