代下14:2-4，6
亚撒行耶和华他神眼中看为善为正的事．除掉外邦神的坛、和丘坛、打碎柱像、砍下木偶，吩咐犹大人寻求耶和华他们列祖的神、遵行他的律法、诫命．..又在犹大建造了几座坚固城．国中太平数年、没有战争、因为耶和华赐他平安。
Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of Yahweh his God, for he took away the foreign altars, and the high places, and broke down the pillars, and cut down the Asherim,
and commanded Judah to seek Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment....He built fortified cities in Judah; for the land was quiet, and he had no war in those years, because Yahweh had given him rest.
主耶稣！亚撒王行耶和华神眼中看为善为正的事，国家太平。这也是我们所渴望的太平和平安。主啊！我们当行的是除去心中的偶像，除掉柱像木偶，寻求并遵行耶和华神的律法，我们必然从祢那里得心灵的平安，我的祖国，我的家也会太平。
