出17:9-11

摩西对约书亚说、你为我们选出人来、出去和亚玛力人争战．明天我手里要拿着神的杖、站在山顶上。于是约书亚照着摩西对他所说的话行、和亚玛力人争战．摩西、亚伦、与户珥、都上了山顶。摩西何时举手、以色列人就得胜、何时垂手、亚玛力人就得胜。

Moses said to Joshua, "Choose men for us, and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with God's rod in my hand." So Joshua did as Moses had told him, and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. It happened, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

主耶稣！我看懂了, 摩西手里拿着的是神所赐的杖, 带着神的权柄。我们手里拿着的, 也是神所赐的权柄, 就是主耶稣基督的名, 远超过一切执政的, 掌权的, 有能的, 主治的, 和一切有名的。主啊！求圣灵的感动, 常与我同在, 提醒我使用手里神所赐的权柄。
