出6:7-9
我要以你们为我的百姓．我也要作你们的神、你们要知道我是耶和华你们的神、是救你们脱离埃及人之重担的。我起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的那地、我要把你们领进去将那地赐给你们为业、我是耶和华。摩西将这话告诉以色列人、只是他们因苦工愁烦、不肯听他的话。
and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.'" Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they didn't listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
主耶稣！我看到, 神向以色列百姓说“神要作的事”, 非常清楚, 但是, 他们就是不肯听。我们今天, 也是这样, 神说“天国近了, 人人要悔改, 要儆醒祷告, 免得入了迷惑。许多信徒就是不肯听。主啊！我要听神的话多过人的话, 免得被世俗同化。我要保守我的心, 在人面前承认, 我是耶和华神国度的子民。
