忍受试探的人是有福的．因为他经过试验以后、必得生命的冠冕、这是主应许给那些爱他之人的。人被试探、不可说、我是被神试探．因为神不能被恶试探、他也不试探人．

Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can't be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.

主耶稣！我在想, 过去所遇到的试探, 有悦眼目的, 有悦肉体的, 有悦心中自大的, 我认得好些试探, 都是出於自己的私欲, 求主赦免我的无知, 明知故犯, 有时候还说是神在试探我。主啊！当我察觉到私欲在我里面发动时, 求圣灵光照, 叫我懂得不让私欲有机会停留在我心里。
