徒16:26-30
忽然地大震动、甚至监牢的地基都摇动了．监门立刻全开、众囚犯的锁炼也都松开了。禁卒一醒、看见监门全开、以为囚犯已经逃走、就拔刀要自杀。保罗大声呼叫说、不要伤害自己、我们都在这里。禁卒叫人拿灯来、就跳进去、战战兢兢的、俯伏在保罗西拉面前。又领他们出来、说、二位先生、我当怎样行才可以得救。
Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were loosened. The jailer, being roused out of sleep and seeing the prison doors open, drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, "Don't harm yourself, for we are all here!"He called for lights and sprang in, and, fell down trembling before Paul and Silas, and brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
主耶稣！我好惊讶, 监门全开, 保罗, 西拉和众囚犯, 没有人离开, 结果, 禁卒也因此得救。许多时候, 我们的祷告, 是求神救我们脱离在工作上的困境, 忘了在困境中向神献上赞美的祭。困境解除时, 就赶紧走人, 错失了为神作见证的机会。主啊！教导我, 更多与圣灵同行, 更多体贴圣灵。
