约12:42-44

虽然如此、官长中却有好些信他的．只因法利赛人的缘故、就不承认、恐怕被赶出会堂。这是因他们爱人的荣耀、过于爱神的荣耀。耶稣大声说、信我的、不是信我、乃是信那差我来的。

Nevertheless even of the rulers many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they didn't confess it, so that they wouldn't be put out of the synagogue, for they loved men's praise more than God's praise. 主耶稣！我自问, 我对爱神的荣耀有多渴慕。主啊！我祈求, 活出荣耀神的名的生活作息, 带来影响力, 叫更多人认识祢, 跟随祢, 事奉祢, 一同荣耀神的名。
