亚5:3,4

他对我说、这是发出行在遍地上的咒诅．凡偷窃的必按卷上这面的话除灭．凡起假誓的必按卷上那面的话除灭。万军之耶和华说、我必使这书卷出去、进入偷窃人的家、和指我名起假誓人的家、必常在他家里、连房屋带木石都毁灭了。

Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side; and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side. I will cause it to go out," says Yahweh of Armies, "and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones."

主耶稣！我想起经上说, 最要紧的是不可起誓, 不可指着天起誓, 也不可指着地起誓, 无论何誓都不可起。你们说话, 是就说是, 不是就说不是, 免得你们落在审判之下。主啊！求祢赐给我, 在起誓这件事上有属天的智慧。
